Odisseis long time asked me to make him a figure to commemorate its 50 anniversary blog launching the first man into space .
I gladly accept this assignment, which was very interesting for several reasons:

me explain. It was very interesting to put my own style in a very specific time (age 60), with a very specific aesthetic and function (the simplicity and functionality of the Soviet nationalist propaganda).
In fact, during the process I changed details to get closer to the style of posters of that time so I ended up completely removing the ink, I chose a particular color palette, flat shaded, and I decided to finish with noise (mimicking the old system of colored frames).
The result was very pleasing to Oddiseis , which encouraged me to publish the picture not only itself but the process of creation. So here is the summary of this process that I enjoyed so much:
